BEST PUBS IN IRELAND.....

When planning a golf trip to Ireland it is important to plan your golf courses around your lodging which most importantly includes a solid pub or multiple pub options in close proximity to your lodging. Favorite two pubs in all of Ireland for me are Kennys in Lahinch and Thomas Connolly in sligo. The music at Thomas Connolly's on sunday and monday are top notch and just like Kennys that has great music on friday and saturdays it is the interaction with the locals that makes a truly great Irish Pub. JB gibneys just a few miles from Dublin airport in malahide is very large with a great environment for a night out after a long day of golfing the portmarnock area. The corner bar or pikemans in tralee are also great options for interacting with locals and enjoying some of the craic. So instead of planning what golf courses you want to play, why not plan what pubs you want to visit then look at your best golf course options in close proximity to those pubs. Just a thought.........
